Preparation steps
- In the original recipe, 30 dag of pumpkin is cooked with children and a half of wine, then mix into a puree. I used ready-made puree (I baked them in the oven and mixed). Mix the egg yolks with sugar and margarine. Add flour and baking powder, and finally pumpkin puree.
- Spread on a deeper baking tray, or put baking paper (40 * 23 cm). Pour the pumpkin mixture and flatten.
- For the poppy seed filling, mix lemon juice, rum, oil, crumbs and poppy seeds. Mix the egg whites with the sugar and add the poppy seeds. Pour the poppy seed mixture on the pumpkin mixture. Bake for about 40 minutes at 170 degrees. Cool.
- Pour lemon glaze over the cooled pie.
