Bulgur with mixed vegetables
Everyone in the house simply adores bulgur and I often make it in several ways, this is one of them. It can be used as a side dish and it can also be used as a main dish.
- Fry the onion until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Add thawed vegetables and spices and fry for about 5 minutes. Then add water.
- When it starts to cook add the washed and drained bulgur. Cover and bring to a boil. When it starts to cook, reduce to a medium temperature and cook until the water disappears. When the water disappears, mix and reduce to the lowest temperature and cook for another twenty minutes, stirring occasionally.
