Buhtle again!

There are never enough recipes like this, here are the recipes of my grandmother, mother, me… and I hope, my daughters, one day! :-)

Preparation steps

  • Melt half the butter. In a cup of milk, melt the yeast with a teaspoon of sugar. Beat eggs and sugar. Mix leavened yeast, melted butter and eggs with sugar in the flour and knead a soft smooth dough with milk. Let it double in a warm place, and divide it into two noodles, roll them out to a finger thickness and cut into squares. Put a teaspoon of jam in each and shape into buns, arrange them in a pan lined with greaseproof paper and put a lump of butter on each. Bake at 180 ° C for about 40`.
  • Sprinkle hot with powdered sugar mixed with vanilla sugar, like this


I used to put grape jam, but it's also nice with someone else (plums, pomegranate, apricot, orange…)
