Alpen - Marillen Marmalade
Who likes to please ..... easy to prepare, and even easier to try :))
- Clean apricots from stones and other damage. Mix them into small pieces (pulp) and weigh whether you have gained 1.5 kg.
- Transfer to a saucepan, add jelly sugar, lemon juice, plain sugar and vanilla sugar and stir. Let this mixture stand while you prepare the jars.
- Wash the jars and put them in the oven without a lid for 15 minutes, at 100 C. While they are heating, start stirring the mixture you have previously prepared over a low heat. After 15-20 minutes, when the mixture has already thickened, try it and you will see if there is a lack of sugar or maybe more lemon juice, judge for yourself.
- When the jam is done, take the hot jars out of the oven and put the jam in them. When you have filled them, put them back in the oven and as the oven cools, let the jam cool as well. Later, just close them with lids.
