Salty fried lokumi
A kind of hollow donuts that are cut into lozenges and fried for just a few seconds!
Preparation steps
- Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add egg. Slowly pour the yogurt and knead the dough with a wooden spoon.
- Shake it on a floured surface. Add a little flour and knead a dough that does not stick to your hands.
- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
- Use a sharp knife to cut the dough into diamonds.
- Put them in hot deep oil. The lokumi will sink first, then rise to the surface in a few seconds. In a few seconds they will inflate and immediately have to turn to the other side. Fry for a few more seconds and remove with a slotted spoon to a paper towel.
Serving
Serve warm, with a salty spread.
