Pork kavarma kebab

Kavarma is one of the most delicious Bulgarian meat dishes. Serve pork and leeks in combination with piquant and white wine with boiled rice or potatoes. Good apetite!

Preparation steps

  • Cut the meat into thinner noodles.
  • Add salt and fry in well-heated oil until it gets a nice golden color.
  • Set the roasted meat aside, and briefly fry the leeks cut into thin slices in the same oil.
  • As soon as the leeks are slightly browned, add the tomato concentrate, natur chili, a pinch of pepper and salt. Stir gently and bake for another 1 minute.
  • Add 100 ml of water, wine and return the roasted meat. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for another 4-5 minutes.

Serving

Sprinkle with finely chopped onions and serve warm with cooked rice or potatoes.

Advice

If you like a more intense flavor, put in twice the amount of wine.
