Chicken meatballs stuffed with pistachios
Very interesting and tasty combination. So that the chicken is not always made in the classic way, try this recipe with 24kitchen.
- Grind the chicken in a blender and season to taste. Add the egg whites and mix well again into a smooth mixture.
- In a blender, mix the pistachios and butter. If you wish, you can add more or less butter. I cut the butter down a bit though. Since I didn't have enough pistachios at home, I added some nuts, almonds and walnuts.
- Form meatballs with your palms, sprinkle with bread crumbs and flatten. Place the pistachio mixture in the middle, then fold with the other flattened meat and shape into a meatball. Roll in crumbs and place in deep, hot oil.
- P.S. i made a couple of pieces like ravioli, i just folded the meat over the stuffing (which is easier to make) but these are no longer meatballs. You decide which shape would suit you best.
