Bosnian poured bread
When I tried it for the first time I just exclaimed… mmmmm… this is superrrr. This cake was made by my cousin from Macedonia who has a Bosnian husband from Goražde, and she got the recipe from her mother-in-law.
- Boil the potatoes in their skins, peel and grate. Add baking soda, oil, egg salt, mineral water, and flour as needed to make the dough liquid and that you can pour it into the pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for approximately 40 minutes, but you will try with a knife whether the dough is baked. When baked, pour the mixture of eggs and yogurt back once more to bake until done.
- The pan must be pre-greased with oil and flour, and the oven preheated to 200 degrees.
This loaf of bread can be used for breakfast with yogurt, or when you have a celebration, birthday and can be eaten with cold cuts or meat.
