Apple and carrot jam
Lovely and light jam.
- Peel a carrot, cut it into small rings and cook in a little water until soft. When it softens, strain it and add peeled apples cut into smaller pieces, sugar and start cooking the mixture does not soften.
- When the mixture softens, add the orange, cinnamon and liqueur and continue cooking for another 15 minutes until the mass thickens.
- NOTE: If you do not want to have larger pieces in the jam, blend the carrots and apples before adding the sugar.
- When the jam is ready, pour it into the jars that you previously washed and dry at 50 degrees. 4-5 minutes in the oven.
