Lovely, small pastries, suitable for parties or birthdays
- Sift flour with yeast, add sugar, margarine, beaten egg
- Bake the poppy lightly in a Teflon pan over low heat. Grate the orange peel and squeeze the oranges, and add water to the juice so that the volume reaches 225 ml.
- Add all this to the flour and finally add the finely chopped figs and candied orange. Knead the dough and let it rise in the heat.
- Form balls of mass. If it is too sticky, add a little flour. Coat the surface with milk and sprinkle with poppy seeds. You can then arrange them normally in a baking tray with baking paper or bake them in tin or plain, small pots
