Shrek Soup
As we are anxiously awaiting for the new Shrek Movie to premiere (tickets are already bought), here is our (mine & Viktor’s) contribution:
Preparation steps
- Put all the ingredients in a saucepan, cover with water and cook over low heat until the meat begins to separate from the ribs.
- Strain the soup. Do not throw away liquid.
- Remove the ribs, clean the meat and place it in a bowl.
- Throw in the bay leaves. Put all the vegetables in a blender and blend in a saucepan by adding the liquid in which they were cooked as needed. Climb into the sickle.
- Return the meat, season to taste. Put on the fire and let it boil a few more times. Add more broth as needed.
- You can either fry it at will until it becomes crispy bacon chopped into cubes and crumble it on the surface or serve with a ham (like me, I had a smoked ham so I put a flower in the middle of the plate).
