Salty biscuits with cheese and saffron
Excellent with an aperitif, as an appetizer, finger food, party food ... soft and aromatic
Preparation steps
- Sift flour into a bowl, add cottage cheese, grated parmesan, room temperature butter, egg yolk, saffron dissolved in a tablespoon of lukewarm water, salt and pepper. Mix everything quickly to get a smooth dough. Wrap it in cling film and leave for at least 1/2 hour in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm on a floured board or between two sheets of baking paper. Cut it into shapes as desired (molds or a curving dough cutting wheel) and prick them a little with a fork or wooden stick. Arrange the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about 12-13 minutes until lightly golden.
