Pecorino rolls
In large supermarkets, you can recently buy Pekorino cheese, which we really like. These rolls are with that cheese.
Preparation steps
- Sift and mix both types of flour. Put yeast and maltex in 250 ml of lukewarm water and wait for them to melt. Add this mixture to the flour, add salt, ground pepper and ground paprika. Depending on whether you like hot, you can add hot ground pepper. Knead a homogeneous and elastic dough. Make a ball, cover it with a cotton cloth and let it double in volume at room temperature.
- When the dough has risen, knead it and spread the dough in a circle on a work surface sprinkled with flour. Cut as small triangles as possible and put a piece of cheese on each one. Wrap the rolls.
- Arrange the rolls prepared in this way on a baking tray on which you have placed a permanent baking foil or baking paper. Coat the rolls with a fork whipped with egg white and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Leave the rolls to stand for 15 minutes.
- Bake them in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for 15-20 minutes.
