Pate cake
This is according to how the pate was made: it's a shame to throw it away. So it was a shame for me to throw away all those leftover biscuits, biscuits, pieces of various cakes from all winter holidays. So I leave it all to dry and part of it remains in the frieze. I first read this in an old SALE & PEPER, but it's there with old bread, and I, like Marie Antoinette, recommend cookies.
Preparation steps
- Chop the remains of biscuits, biscuits and other sweet "waste" a little and put in a deeper bowl. Bring the milk and butter to a boil and pour over the dry mass. Add cocoa and sugar and leave for 2-3 hours to combine. Stir occasionally. Soak raisins with rum or juice, if it is for children, chop the stone fruit. I had dried bananas, so I dipped them with grapes. I also found chopped candied ginger, so I added it. Add one egg yolk to the cooled milk mass, stir and then add another. Stir the mixture and add all the dried fruit, almonds or walnuts, cinnamon and nutmeg. Whisk the egg whites with a little salt in solid snow and gradually add to the mixture. Pour into a greased mold with a diameter of 23 cm and put it to bake in an oven heated to 180 C. Bake for 60-70 minutes. Check with a toothpick if the cake is baked in the middle as well.
Serving
With a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream, it is a very nice treat, and you have got rid of various leftovers that are a shame to throw away.
