Octopus in pepper sauce

Can't imagine an octopus swimming in a Dalmatian pot? In principle, I don't mind, but, you know, Brazilians are also masters of seafood. Octopus in pepper sauce is prepared with onion, lime and ginger. Who will resist?

Preparation steps

  • Pour vinegar over the ground pepper and salt and let it stand for 2-3 hours.
  • Cook the octopus, cool and cut into smaller pieces.
  • Drizzle the prepared octopus with olive oil and sprinkle with parsley, grated lime zest and ginger. Then add the diced purple onion and a mixture of pepper, vinegar and salt.
  • Mix everything well and drizzle with lime juice.

Serving

Cool the salad well and serve as a small dish with toasted bread.

Advice

Pepper, vinegar and salt can stand covered overnight.
