Legumi e cereali or my favorite winter bućkuriš
A year ago, when I started to watch what I ate again, I bought several packages of a mixture of legumes and cereals in Italy. There is everything, two types of lentils, several types of beans, green beans, wholemeal rice, wheat ... And then I came to the conclusion that I do not know how to prepare what I bought ... After a couple of experiments, I came up with this recipe ...
Preparation steps
- Legumes and cereals can be soaked overnight if you want them to cook faster the next day ...
- Soak the legumes in water and cook them until the water boils, pour off the water and pour another ... I usually repeat this twice, so that the soup has a nicer color ... Return to the stove and continue cooking ...
- Chop the onion into strips, paprika as well, carrots into circles, garlic and put them all in a pot ... I kind of like to cut everything large because legumes take a long time to cook anyway ...
- Halfway through cooking, add the soup cubes ... Bay leaf ...
- When everything is well cooked, heat the oil as desired and add the ale pepper to it, fry a little and thus fry the soup ...
- Since I like everything a little hotter, I usually add pepper and hot peppers, it is good for circulation and metabolism, but you should have a stomach for that: o)
Serving
The sweetest is eaten from a large soup cup, sprinkled with a little grated young cheese ...
