Hummus with salted sardines
Chickpea, sesame and salted sardine spread!
Preparation steps
- Fry sesame over low heat without oil. Wait until slightly browned. Then grind to a powder and add a tablespoon of olive oil. Knead.
- Squeeze the whole lemon and mix well with the sesame paste. Mix in a mixer until the mixture is smooth and fine.
- Add 2-3 cloves of garlic, a teaspoon of salt and mix well.
- Add 2 cans of chickpeas to the mixture with its water (half the water of one can or the equivalent of that from cooking if you cooked it). Add a tablespoon of olive oil.
- This step is optional: Add 3-4 salted sardines to the hummus. Mix.
Serving
Fill the bowl with humus, make grooves in the mixture with a spoon and fill them with olive oil. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
