Gypsy salad

It's time for winter, so I prepare this salad according to my mother's recipe ...

Preparation steps

  • First put the beans to cook, but do not overcook ... Wash the peppers and chop them into cubes or grind them on a meat grinder, cut the tomatoes into small cubes.
  • Put everything in a pan on oil and vinegar and cook until everything is soft and cooked and yet thick. Mix the drained cooked beans into the cooked mass, add salt, sugar and pepper to taste. Boil everything until it boils again, sterilize the jars and fill them with salad and immediately close them with lids and leave to cool.

Serving

Serve the salad with various roasts, fish, salted slices or of your choice ...
