Greek kad (a) if
Make a slip in Greece and look for Turkish coffee or kadaif and you will be amazed when they answer that they don't have it. So advice: look for GREEK coffee and velvet because it's just amazing how it irritates them A in the velvet… ..But it's worth remembering, because I haven't eaten a better velvet than this one in the picture… dobroooo… GADIF! And how hard it was to get a recipe… ..
Preparation steps
- So whether you make them or buy noodles for kadaif stretched into a strip, the amount will depend on the thickness of the rolls you want to get) and before the end about 2-3 cm from the end put the filling of mixed walnuts and raisins, then sprinkle with cinnamon and slowly bend into a roll.
- Arrange the rolls in a butter-greased pan so that they are compacted next to each other, and finally pour melted butter over them.
- Bake it over a low heat, taking care not to darken and harden too much.
- Drizzle it with boiled water and sugar sherbet, to which you added lemon juice before pouring.
- The old rule applies to you here, either the cake is hot and the sherbet is cold, or what I do is the cake is cold and the sherbet is hot.
- Wait for it to cool.
Serving
Next time, I plan to make it with walnuts, grapes and cranberries, so we'll see how it turns out. The picture is of the original Greek velvet from a pastry shop in Hanioti, I will add when I make it again and mine, honestly, no matter how much I am a food lover, it rarely occurs to me to paint it. Pleasant!
