Friulian stew
I saw this on TV yesterday morning, so as I was planning something else for lunch yesterday, this was today. It was very nice in this cold.
Preparation steps
- Finely chop the onion and simmer in oil. Add 2-3 teaspoons of vegeta, then add finely chopped whole bunch of primroses. Stir well, then simmer a little more.
- Put bay leaf, rosemary and marjoram.
- Add finely chopped bacon, diced meat, mix well and leave to simmer again.
- Add allspice and tomato puree, salt, pepper, and stir again.
- Pour water well to soak the meat, then simmer for another 40-45 minutes on medium heat, adding water if necessary.
Serving
Serve with gnocchi. I added a little chopped hot peppers and a glass of wine with the stew.
