Chicory with anchovies
The slightly bitter taste of chicory and salty anchovies combined nicely into such a delicious side dish.
- Peeled chicory, wash well and chop.
- Put in a pot of boiling water and boil briefly.
- Wash the anchovies under water and chop them finely.
- Fry the unpeeled clove of garlic in olive oil, add the anchovies and stir until well decomposed.
- Stir in the chicory, season with salt and pepper and cook for another 5 minutes.
