Chicken in ajvar sauce
A fine tasty dish for all ajvar lovers.
- Cut the chicken into strips and mix with all the above spices and half of the oil. Leave it to stand in the fridge for at least an hour, or overnight.
- Fry the chicken in heated oil for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until finely browned. Set aside.
- Add ajvar and salt to the oil in which the chicken was fried and fry a little. Then add the cooking cream and cook on low heat for ten minutes.
- Pour the finished sauce over the chicken.
This time I had potato croquettes as a side dish, but it can also be served with mashed potatoes or rice.
