Bulgur salad (Tabbouleh)

Tabbūle in Arabic means “a little spicy”. This refreshing salad with bulgur and tomato is spiced “only” with spring onions, parsley and mint. It is a real summer choice of dishes with a cool effect.

Bulgur salad (Tabbouleh)

Preparation steps

  • Place the bulgur in a bowl and pour over the boiling water to which you have added Natur. Cover and let soak for about 25 minutes. Drain the bulgur and leave to cool.
  • Add diced tomatoes, finely chopped spring onions, parsley and mint to the cold bulgur and mix everything lightly.
  • Mix olive oil and lemon juice and pour over the salad.

Serving

Season the salad with salt, pepper, stir and serve.

Advice

Tabbouleh should always have more vegetables than cereal grains. You can mix the vegetables of your choice.
