Preparation steps

  • Put the flour in a bowl. In a saucepan, stir in the crushed yeast (preferably fresh) with 2 tablespoons of milk, one tablespoon of sugar, a little flour and leave in a warm place to rise. melted butter, rum (if desired) mix everything well, add the yeast to the flour and the milk mixture and knead the dough. Leave it to rise. When the dough has doubled, place it on a floured board, roll it out about 1cm thick and the squares are cut.
  • Put a piece of jam on each and fold it into rolls. When they come to the pan, they are coated with beaten egg whites so that they don't stick to each other and baked for about 45 minutes at 200 degrees. Sprinkle warm buns with powdered sugar.
