Preparation steps

  • In a little warm milk put the yeast to rise. In a separate bowl, place the flour and all other ingredients, and the yeast when it ferments. Knead the dough and leave it to rise in the heat for about half an hour. Roll out to a finger thickness, cut into squares, fill with jam, join the ends of the squares and stack them on a greased sheet with that joined side. Coat with egg yolk for shine and bake at 170 ° C until it gets a nice golden color. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when done.
