Banana and persimmon ice cream
Less recipe, and more ideas on how to enrich the well-known healthy ice cream from frozen bananas. Refreshing, healthy and fast ... unless you wait in front of the freezer until the fruit freezes. :)
- Bananas cut into rings, and peeled khaki into cubes, and put (if possible in one layer) in the freezer for 4-5 hours.
- Put the frozen bananas and khaki in a blender and mix until a creamy texture is achieved. "Help" the blender by pausing and mixing, and a spoonful of yogurt or milk can be added as needed (I didn't need it).
My favorite is alone or with a little coconut, and of course it can be served with various toppings, nuts, chocolate and the like.
