~ Argentine cevapi ~
I love this dish, the recipe is quite old. It goes with literally any salad and can be prepared every day, and for some more festive occasions.
- Knead a mixture of meat, potatoes (which are first boiled and then mashed), egg yolks, one whole egg, finely chopped parsley, garlic (finely chopped), peppers, baking powder and season to taste.
- Shape the cevaps and roll them in flour, beaten egg whites and breadcrumbs. Fry them in hot oil.
- When you have fried all the cevape, arrange them in a pan or a fireproof bowl, and pour them with the previously made sauce of sour cream, mayonnaise and mustard and put them in a preheated oven at 180c and bake them for 15 minutes.
I usually sprinkle them with finely chopped parsley because I love it, but I don't have to.
