Apple cake for AnaS

It was our dear Ana's birthday, and I was one of the lucky ones invited for coffee and cookies… and since our dear friend is also a big fan of apples that are available for export in my orchard this year, I wanted to cheer her up a bit and give her a present. one "apple" cake ... I hope I succeeded… .The picture was taken by Njambrek because my photographer is with him and his mobile phone at sea… .Nado, thank you!

Preparation steps

  • From the listed ingredients, knead the dough and arrange it on a greased and floured baking tray (approx. 20 × 30 cm).
  • From the listed ingredients, cook the cream.
  • Peel an apple, grate it and cut it into circles of equal thickness, leaving them to marinate in lemon juice.
  • Put the dough in the oven, and when it is half baked, coat it with warm cream.
  • Arrange the apple rings on top of the cream and put a little jam in the middle of each apple.
  • Return to the oven and bake until done (at approx. 180 C).
  • Cool well.
  • Cook the cake topping in apple juice with sugar (if you don't have juice, you can use water) and pour over the cooled cake.
  • Cool well.


You can serve it with whipped sweet cream. In the picture, these are these yellow-red cakes. I used jam according to Milicza's perfect recipe.
