Simple and fine .... an ideal side dish with various types of party pastries, crackers or as a spread on homemade bread, and you can also serve it with meat platters.
- Grate the Emmentaler and finely chop the chives.
- In a bowl, mix the grains and cream cheese with the cream, add the spices, mix everything together well and finally stir in the grated Emmentaler. Depending on how much you like a thick spread, you can add a little more or less cream than the stated amount.
- Peel a squash, grate it and cut it in half.
- Arrange in a bowl with a lid and refrigerate for about 1 hour for flavors and aromas to permeate.
