3 lentils & pumpkin
Today, a little deviation from meat dishes. On a spoon for everyone, so who likes it.
- Wash the lenses under running water. Saute leeks and onions in olive oil, add finely chopped root vegetables, celery and parsley leaves and spices and simmer briefly. Add lentils to softened vegetables and cover with chicken stock or cube + water and cook gently.
- Bake the pumpkin halved together with the rind. The liquid that is created in the pumpkin during baking can be added to the lentils.
- When serving, take out the pumpkin balls and if you like šurlice as my little ones like, then add a little and cover everything with lentils. With feta bread and lettuce, a very filling dish. For my adult boys per feta fried bacon not to complain.
