Among the pancakes, the most eloquent are flambéed with cherries and whipped cream. Their language is that of sweetness and pleasure, and if you flambé them in front of a loved one, you can expect violent reactions. But that is our goal this time, isn't it.

Preparation steps

  • Add water to the pancake mixture and mix a smooth liquid dough. Leave the dough to stand for 15 minutes.
  • From the prepared dough, bake pancakes with a diameter of 23 cm.
  • Coat the prepared pancakes with cherry filling and fold into a triangle.
  • Melt the butter in a pan, add the remaining cherry filling and cover with the cherry juice.
  • Arrange the pancakes in a deep pan, heat them well, pour brandy or rum over them and flambé.
  • In a tall bowl pour the boiled cold milk, pour the contents of the bag of whipped cream, stir and continue to mix with an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes.

Serving

Garnish the flambéed pancakes with the prepared whipped cream and fresh cherries or cherries from the compote.

Advice

If you want different pancakes, when adding the dough to the pan, sprinkle with almond flakes and later the outside of the pancakes will look more effective.
