Preparation steps

  • First make a topping for the crust, heat the milk with the sugar and vanilla sugar and leave to cool. For the crust, whisk the egg whites with the sugar first, add the egg yolks and sifted flour with the baking powder. Bake in a greased and floured pan (or with baking paper) size 22x35..or similar. When the crust is blocked, prick it and pour over the prepared dressing. For the filling, bring the milk to a boil and cook the semolina (without sugar). It should be very dense. Leave to cool, a little ... then whisk frothy, butter with vanilla sugar and powdered sugar, add semolina to this mixture, grate 5 apples and add cinnamon to taste. Pour the filling over the crust, and put either sweet sour cream or icing on top.
