Preparation steps

  • Whisk the yeast with hot water and leave for 10 minutes. Then add egg, flour and milk and knead a soft dough. Let stand for an hour to rise. Let's divide it into 4 parts. We take the first part and stretch it. We wrap it in a roll. Cut the roll in half. Cut both halves in the middle but not to the end. We twist both ends a couple of times on the outside flat and put them in a greased tray opposite each other. Let's take the other end of the test. We stretch it and divide it into 3 strips. We twist each strip and form it like a snail. We arrange them in a pan. From the other two ends we take a little and stretch. Cut into mini strips and form small roses. We spread the rest of the test in two circles. We switch both circles. We wait for the first time almost to the end. The other two times just a little. We pull the first end and bend it upwards, these are the head and neck of the swan. We put a grain of pepper as an eye. Let's put them with their heads facing each other. Cover the dough to rise.
  • Whisk the egg with the milk. Coat the bread and bake at 250 degrees. Bake until nicely browned.
