Preparation steps

  • I prepared it from half of the dough for the wine cake and you can prepare the dough from half the amount of ingredients. The division of the dough is the same, so we divide the dough into 3 parts, two of the same and one slightly smaller.
  • Coat the mold with margarine and put a small part of the dough in the middle. Divide the second part of the dough into 6 parts and form a fine ball from each, arrange the balls around the central dough at equal intervals. From the third part of the dough, use a rolling pin to make a rectangular crust of about 35 cm, coat with softened margarine and roll the roll. Cut both ends of the roll and then divide into 6 equal parts. Place one piece of roll between each ball {the cut side goes up and down}
  • From the cut ends of the roll, make two rollers and form a braid that we place around the central part. Cover the cake and let it grow for about 15-20 minutes. We place the decorations and then coat them with beaten egg, taking care not to spread the decorations.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200c for about 15 minutes and then another 20 minutes at 170 degrees.
  • We hand out the bread on a board to cool.

Serving

It goes well with cheese, yoghurt, salami or bacon. If the appetizer is good, then a glass of wine is possible - as it suits you, according to your wishes and taste. Cheers !!!
